I apparently don't have pictures right now of my second orange Z95, my second attempt at Wedge's X wing, or any of my Y wings. I'll have to take some pictures later and upload them.

Some real progress there in painting skills, coming on leaps and bounds!

Incredible stuff! I wish I had a bigger bank account. Or one at all...

Okay, now that I'm home from work, here are the remaining ships I've painted.

Gold Squadron (attempt #1 - this was the 3rd thing I painted and probably one of the worst ones)

The rest of these are recent projects.

And Tycho's A Wing (current project, base paints are all set, some clean up and weathering still to do)

Nothing that hasn't been posted in these forums before, but here we go.

This will be a new addition to the KS, should be fun for both xwing and attack wing games...

When baby space worm grows out of it's birth rock it breaks free and roams the local asteroid fields gathering debris and asteroids to build a bigger protective shell, the result is....

Daddy worm!

My latest Lambda repaint.

Nice Albino Manatee you have there.. really like that paint scheme

Found the thread on page 3, unacceptable! :)

Here is my YT-1300 repaint. Fairly simple, but I like the asymmetry of the blue on the cockpit side.

OK, finally played catch up...lets go...

Seem to be having a build splurge, you know how it is, you see some poly offcuts and think MkII Rebel Assault Frigate, rest is history, had a weekend on it, coming together nicely

FrigateWIP5_zpsece25ee9.jpg

Hot wire cutters, wonderful!

FrigateWIP2_zps5b0b3743.jpg

Basic shape finished, now for the fine tuning

FrigateWIP1_zps096cc1d3.jpg

FrigateWIP3_zps3f1b7530.jpg

Most of the main bits done, just got the tail end to work on now

FrigateWIP4_zps2c075f8b.jpg

Only had a couple of crappy pictures to work off, none of which showed the **** end of the frigate, something provided this shot however for an upcoming Armada ship, should help with the booty build!

Pretty much finished the basic shape now, will have to bob it away for a couple of weeks now I have my table back so I can crack on with some paid commission work but next will be detailing and a huge base!

Big fat Gypsy Spaceship

I wonder who ate all the space pies?

Show off!

Bum end

FrigatebuildWIP3_zpsfd4186ee.jpg

Breaks down for easy storage/transport and leaves me the option of future mods ;)

FrigatebuildWIP6_zpscbbfd35c.jpg

Been laying down a little detail on the frigate, all fun and games until you realise once you have finished one side you have to do it all again on the other! GAH!

AssaultFrigatedetailWIP3_zps91755a3c.jpg

All the detailing pretty much done now, added a bit of extra va va voom on the tail end, the MkIV Bulldog definitely has go fasta stripes :)

Will have to put this and the station on the back boiler for a week or two now a I have a ton of stuff to paint up in prep for our kickstarter!

Few pictures of the frigate next to some of the other fleet ships (runner and transport are the official FFG models) Its actually the first time I have measured this fella and he comes in at approx. 60cm long, pretty happy with the look next to the neb B, he looks suitably more chunky and kick ass :)

That is awesome

Who knows, I may even get time to paint it this decade! Managed to undercoat the space station yesterday, a miracle in itself!

Hey Bulldog. Off topic, but that Titan leg in the background of the last shot is mahoooosive!!

That thing must be the size of a spotty teenager!? ;)

A few A-wing repaints.

I suffer from an essential tremor so the work is not precise but finally got to my A-wing today too. :) Agent Orange.

Ayleron, Looks good...

Notnsure I want to keep this as is, I'd like some criticism on how you think it looks.

20140930_224618-1.jpg

20140930_224318-1.jpg

Simple technique, I washed it heavily then used a brush to flick paint on for starry effect.

I had tried to do the cloaking effects like on the ACD card, but wasn't happy with my results. Tried this, and not sure how I feel about it. I think the picture looks interesting, many of the smaller specs don't show up to the naked eye, so it has this glowy effect in the photo.. kinda cool.

So, any comments are welcome, good or bad...

Perhaps a little heavy on stars? Could use more negative space I think.

Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines. I may wash it again, or just base coat it, and paint them one by one. Which I was trying to avoid lol.

What does it look like not up close? Does it maybe work better on the board?

Id agree looks very good but a few less stars would probably look better
