2 Live Crew - Imperial Decimators

I threw together this list when I was trying to put together a fun list that featured two Decimators. I debated between Anti-Pursuit Laser and Mercenary Copilot, but I thought the punch the Copilot adds was ultimately worth it.

The Engineer allows you to Target Lock on one turn then hopefully Focus on the next. Gunner makes the Decimators accurate, which they need to be when you're only running two ships.

Any thoughts?

I'd play this simply for the fun factor of running two Decimators.

However, with little chance of avoiding arcs they will take alot of fire, fast.

This list needs to kill fast, or it won't last too long. This, of course is dependant on the number of opponents really..

In an Epic or Team game, a Fleet Officer instead of the Mercenary Copilot would be great.

I would enjoy replacing the mercenaries with tacticians.

I'd be tempted to replace the Weapons Engineers with Tacticians, myself - I know you're looking for extra accuracy every other turn, but crits at range 3 and stress at range two could be quite fun to play with.

Not a big fan of the mercenary copilot. But again I never add 3 co pilot option at once. Witch is awesome. Loved this ship at first sight.

Dont know wereyou are exactly but try calling some Toys store were they ave Playmobile and Book for kid. Its surprising what they ave some time and since ther costemer base is young mom and old mamy the x-wing stock stay longer. Good luck.

The best upgrade to put on the Decimator is Engine. Boosting on large ships represents an insane amount of movement and is the only way to prevent damage. What can’t shoot you, can’t hurt you.

I'm not sold on the last 2 points.

I was thinking about this twin VT setup:

Oicunn + Dauntless title and Tactical Jammer

Kenkirk + Moff Jerjerrod + Isard + Gunner

Basically Oicunn is Kenkirk meat shield and will fly in front of him shielding him from the enemy squad. If they try to focus Kenkirk he'll be able to roll evade dice if blocked by Oicunn. Oicunn will try to put himself between enemy ships and Kenkirk whenever possible. Kenkirk will be tanky and be able to put out decent damage with Gunner. Don't know how effective this will be though...

I also thought about giving this list a try. You can throw out a heft amount of stress with these two ships, especially within the 1-2 ranges.

Don't tempt me Frodo !!! I want my Decimators so bad !!! I loves them !!!

Sounds good, and I'll be getting 2 of them when they drop, so I'll likely be talking in a lot of these double decimator threads as well as solitary decimators.

How well do you think this would hold up against the large Rebel ships?

I've been thinking about switching out the Tactician for Anti Pursuit Lasers.
