I remember that Gunner & Luke were illegal on Huge ships when they first came out, but now I can't find that anywhere.
Was that changed and if so, when?

Yeah the latest Epic Tournament rules took off that restriction. Navigator is still listed though.
Thanks. Thought I was going crazy for a minute there.

Understandable, they didn't say anything just removed them.
Myself I never understood the restriction in the first place. Gunner is far from OP'ed on a CR-90 with all the restrictions it brings.
Here's the process just in case anyone wonders.
Fire your primary and any hard points you have.
If you miss with an attack you have the opportunity to immediately use Gunner/Luke
If you use Gunner/Luke you make an attack with your Primary weapon, which assumes there's a valid target.
You now can make no other attacks this round.
So lets say you miss with your primary, you can use gunner, but then you can't shot with any of your hardpoints, because Gunner/Luke prevents you from making further attacks this round.
Seems more like a handicap than an upgrade.

The only advantage is you can fire your primary again without spending energy. But yeah it's not much of an advantage considering the drawbacks of using it.
Unless you wait until you have fired all your other weapons first?
Unless you wait until you have fired all your other weapons first?
That only works if you miss with the last weapon you fire.
The key requirement with Gunner/Luke is that you Miss if you hit with an attack you can't use Gunner/Luke, if you miss, you must use Gunner/Luke immediately, so you can't bank it until after you take your other attacks. But as soon as you use Gunner/Luke you can no longer attack.
