So you all likely know that Miniatures Market is having one of their Deal Of The Day sales currently for the Tantive Expansion for the nice price of $45.

I posted that I had just purchased this wonderful model three days ago at their regular price of $61. I cried and I growled and some of our Wingers laughed at me and made me sad, but others suggested that I call MM and cry.

Well sure enough I called a few minuets ago, did not cry, and ZOINGIES-Full refund!

I declined their offer to immediately refund the difference, because I buy from them all of the time, well every month when cool stuff needs getting, and they could just credit my points balance. They did and I mean right now boom! By the time I hung up with them and logged into my MM Account it was there.

These people are Tip-Top in my book. Now when I buy Tantive number two next month, it will be at the current special price.

By the way my been up nineteen hours brain kicked in and I realized that I was being stupid to wait on buying the second Tantive, so I went ahead and ordered it with a 50 pack of the FFG Mini Card selves and it came to a whole great big $37 including shipping.

:)

So the final math says that I got two Tantive Expansions and a pack of protectors for all of the little cards delivered (the first Tantive was part of a $100+ free shipping order) for $98 bucks.

Alright, all you anti-3P0-because-tantive-costs-too-much, now's your chance. Get 'em before they're gone. I was strongly considering buying a second one so the Imps could play with it, maybe sell the extra cards for potential profit.
But I'm gonna leave the stock for you guys, and because I've bought myself enough presents lately.

Go get 'em, peeps.

Also, congrats JBR7. There's some FFG-quality customer service. Glad to see them helping ya out like that.

Well, since you can't mix dials and the sets only come with their own faction's cards, you kind of need to buy as many Rebel Headhunters as you want as as man Scum Headhunters as you want without mixing them.

I bought a CR90 from MM about two weeks ago and figured it couldn't hurt to ask if they could give me store credit for the difference. They immediately issued me a gift certificate, which they absolutely did not have to do.

Bravo, MM. Top notch customer service. If you've recently bought a corvette from them it's worth shooting them an email.

Considering Rebel Zs and Scum Zs aren't cross-compatible (every rebel Z you want to field needs a Z blister and every scum Z you want to field needs half a Most Wanted) it's not nearly as off as it's made to sound.

I wish I only had to pay $60ish for a Tantive. Where I'm at, you can't find them for under $100. Unless they are on sale, which I have yet to see. I paid $100 for my first, and $110 for my second, before taxes!
