S-Foils Ability for X-wing and B-wings
I remember the s-foils being a thing in one of the Poe Dameron comics. IIRC, black squadron was trying to escape from a swarm of FO-Ties and closing the s-foils gave them the necessary speed to keep the distance.
FFG did release the U-wing with moveable parts and people seem to think that X-Wings need some love, so that would be a perfect fit.
