Thanks to an awesome friend I've now got a Decimator, which is absolutely terrific. The one little problem is that it just won't stay on the pegs. I tried it with a bunch of other pegs, so it's clearly the ship's connector that's too loose. Does anyone know a good solution? I've thought about trying to heat it up a little so that it expands, but am worried about accidentally melting it. I've got a heat gun, but it's not a precision instrument. Would putting a little bit of silicon sealant in there in a fine coat around the edges be a terrible idea? Or do I just need to glue it to a peg and be careful how I store it? Thanks!

add thin layers of super glue to the loose spot and let it dry then test fit. use an xacto knife or hobby file to shape it if it gets too tight.
Honestly, go magnets!

Got some magnets so I can do the turrets on the Tantive, but not sure they're strong enough here. Will try the glue.
Is there a good how-to on the magnets? I have the materials that I need, but I'm a bit gun shy when it comes to cutting my models...
I wouldn't use silicone as it's not going to allow you to slide the peg in and out. And I've found supaglue to be notoriously brittle and flaky after a while. I'd use some Tamiya plastic glue as that would effectively decrease the size of the hole by microns with each coat.
My B-Wing had similar issues, so I just glued the peg in, but the Decimator is a bigger beast. Good luck.
