Anyone else having trouble getting logged on directly to the forums? I've restarted my browser, my computer, and cleared all my cookies. And I just finally managed to be able to post. And I had to go through the front page to the community section and then to here first.
Maybe its just me...?
Yep. The symptoms are the same as something I went through a couple of months back (and other people reported it back then too, though, so I know it wasn't just me). They lasted slightly less than a week last time, and then fixed themselves, or were fixed by something the web site admins did.
My solution (until they fix the problem) has been to go through the "Forums" link in the top right corner of the screen, then click through to "Living Card Games" and then "A Game of Thrones." The server recognizes me by the time I've clicked through those links, and I don't have to log in.
Actually I just replaced the new in the url "http://new.fantasy..." with www "http://www.fantasy..."
No problems since.
On a side note, I have noticed the boards are much faster now, at least for me.
This probably isn't the right place for that comment, but it's not worth it's own thread, and people deserve props for fixing things around here. So, to whoever you are, ..... props.
