Here is an interesting case that happened this weekend:
My bomber dropped a proton bomb, moved, but bumbed another ship. When the bomb went off, we measured whether it was at range 1 or not, and while measuring, we were barely grazing one of the bomb protrusions meant to set the template into place. Do those protrusions count as part of the template (and therefore part of the bomb)?
In the same field, imagine two fighters facing off and being perfectly parallel. Do the protrusions from the base count when determining the range or not? Sometimes, a hair is all that separates the life and death a ship, so I just want to get a correct ruling here ![]()
(In the game that we played, we did not know whether the bomb protrusions counted, so we rolled a dice to see if I'd get hit or not)
