So if it were in game it would have forward and rear arcs as well as a 360 turret.

But it would only be two attack from any one of them.

Still not seeing why we'd need this when we have the falcon and outrider already.

I can see it. Give it front and rear arcs at 3 Attack, and the option for a turret upgrade; the pilots and crew could emphasize control and support. Basically make a more expensive, more durable alternative to the HWK.

How do you figure FFG would handle the child ship? Produce it as a separate expansion with lots of synergy with the parent ship? Represent it mechanically without a model? Ignore it all together (my preference)? Make "docking bay" a new kind of upgrade slot, with new rules that could also be used on a gozanti tie carrier?

I'm not crazy about the little runabout, but someone--Captain Lackwit?--was talking the other day about carrier mechanics, and while I disagree with him on some of the specifics, I would love to see a Gozanti with some kind of docking/carrier mechanic that let it support a group of TIEs.

That's me, yeah. I'm pretty sure that since both of these fairly similarly sized Rebels Premiere ships carry their own fighters, we'll definitely see 'em.

The Phantom is not a new idea.

The modified YT-1300 was modified again by Kenner to include 2 mini ships. The F-LER and the YT-XC. The toy was never released, but lives on in the Hayne Manual.

Yeah, and it's not a totally farfetched idea really. Buuuut... Well, you said it yourself. Kenner.

So much toyetic.

My son has a Falcon model with the smaller model in the side.
