As the title says played my first game against a decimator tonight on vassal. Only a 2 ship build, the rear admiral and vessery defender.
I thought I had the advantage but some rusty flying on my part along with way below average attack dice for me cost me the game. I thought I caught a break when my opponent hadn't done hardly any damage to me after the first two turns and I had given a lot of damage to the rear admiral, including a blinded pilot and damaged cockpit crits, plus a hit to vessery.
But after that it all went downhill. Rear should have been dead sooner which would have swung the game in my favor for sure.
I do think my squad has the advantage against decimators, just didn't have things go right tonight unfortunately.
