how the hell are you going to bring him in! there is no way he coulda survived that long. I mean seriously, thats a few millenia or so, I doubt even a space marine has that type of longevity.
And you make this conclusion from.... ?
Right, nowhere. There is no reference to any true space-marine dying of old age (the proto-space marines like the guy who rode on the Eisenstein were a different case). In addition, when you consider that the first-generation "super-space marines", or Adeptus Custodes to use the actual term, have had almost no turnover since the Heresy (i.e most of the originals that hung out with the Emperor are still guarding the throne in M41), there is plenty of circumstantial evidence that their successors, the Adeptus Astartes, are just as long lived as they, and no suggestion or evidence to the contrary. They just tend to get killed dead faster.
As for Loken, he could have gone into dormancy after the collapse, but someone or something would have had to pull him out within a reasonable amount of time after, which is really all you have to come up with. I think that I can give you the perfect answer though, if you can come up with how they learned of Loken and his nature: Alpha Legion. If you've read 'Legion' by now, I think you could see how Loken would be an asset to Alpharius' plans, and his "third option" that he is theorized to have taken.
