Given we have no clue what will be in the show it's a bit early to speculate, I doubt they'll add the stubby tie fighters though.

The Ghost would be cool but for Rebels it's another turret ship and I wonder what it could really offer that's different.

It could help to get younger people playing the game though I guess.

I wonder what it can add too, it's bigger than the Falcon, armament is a bit different to the Falcon or the Outriders top and bottom turrets, it seems to have fore and aft duel cannons and a dual cannon turret up top. Could have have a fore and aft arcs like a Firespray and a turret slot to put on a blaster turret. That's not counting the rear guns are part of a small shuttle that can separate from the ship as a small fighter.

Scrum will get the ship's from x-wing alliance , ace may show up in a rebel x-wing but I see the yt?-2000 being an independent.

Oh puhrlease. As if Disney deserves that. They've made no changes to the canon that George Lucas hadn't already made, everything but the movies has always been subservient to the movies, even if later movies go directly against even the most popular of EU.

But now that, with the coming movies, Lucasfilm has formalized the status of the mess that was the multitude of canons, suddenly Disney is seen as an evil monster that just can't wait to Mickey it up. You know, like they did with Avengers, I agree that the Hulk looked ridiculous in mouse-ears.

Thanks to Disney's buying out of George we're now getting (at least) six more movies with competent directors who actually love and always have loved and even understand Star Wars, something that can't always be said about George.

Your old books didn't vanish, they still exist, they just don't restrict the creation process of the new films, they were never going to though, no book or comic book or game was ever going to be more official than the actual films they were based on. Everyone wins.

Into Darkness SUCKED. Then again the only REALLY good ones were: Voyage Home, Undiscovered Country, Generations, and First Contact. Still, I rate them like this:

1: 5/10 (it sucked, but it was designed to be a tv episode not a movie, and it had a good plot)

Into Darkness wasn't too bad, it was 11 that ruined everything.

The thing is the new Trek Films were more like Star Wars anyway. Im not that hopefully about the new films from all these rumours about hobo Luke and "the hand" but I do think its good that people can't throw their weight around about Canon anymore, the EU is a mess.

And the climax of his film is the ending to wrath of khan, except there's no emotional connection between chris pine and new spock, in wrath when spock sacrifices himself its huge in darkness they spoil the fact he's not dying with the tribble.

It wasn't even a fun popcorn movie, it was stupid from start to finish.
