This is going to be an incredibly unfun list to fly against when you have a decimator than can hand out stress like candy and a decimator with gunner and vader to throw out crits like even more candy! Any ideas other than swarms on how to beat these?
Stressimator + Doomimator

Wait until the decivader blows itself up, I guess? ![]()
Why not two stressimators then ?
Rexlar Brath and Maarek Stele, both with Proton Rockets.
EDIT: or Dom's legendary Triple Lambda lists.
Edited by PhantomFODecivaders kind of kill themselves.
That'll be epic.

How will Soontir survive double Vader crits??

Stressimator and Decivader...
I am still not convinced on using a decimator like a lambda. No longer point efficient. You can get a lambda and EU AND a doom shuttle for the price of a decimator. Vader is a maybe for me. One or two shots a game he might be worth it but not gunner and not every shot.
But vader is more likely to proc on a 360 arc ship as oppoosed to a shuttle.
Stressimator and Doomimator..... sounds like a list developed by this guy:

Stressimator's necessary crew cards are unique.
[edit] I presume the OP means a build that looks something like this:
PS3 Patrol Leader + Darth Vader (43)
PS10 Rear Admiral Chiraneau + Veteran Instincts, Rebel Captive, Mara Jade, Ysanne Isard (57)

It's not that great a list. Much like the double Falcon build, people cry about it because it doesn't take an ounce of thought to fly it that well, however this doesn't equate to it being overly effective. There is no agility on those ships so you focus fire down, which is easy to do as the whole list has a grand total of 2 attacks only. You stay outside of Range 1 and Mara Jade doesn't work, you focus fire the Vader ship first so that Rebel Captive and Isard are not working. At that point you just have to worry about Vader. And to use him he has to strip his precious HP, which are vital to keep on a Decimator given that it has no defense. In essence, Vader is actually a bad card for the Decimator IMO.

Double Falcons run the racetrack. Decimators do not — they want to close to within range 1 of the enemy and stay there. So Decimators take more thought to fly than double Falcons.
Also, Decimators have pretty good dials, lack of K-turn aside. Staying out of range 1 of them is easier said than done, I think.
Lastly, avoiding shooting at the Stressimator does not make Isard "not work" — or rather, it does, but only temporarily. Avoidance is not a long-term strategy. If you want to win, you'll eventually have to trigger Isard, and when you do, there still will be about 11 hit points left on that thing.
Edited by DanthraxI've already got a decimator, and they suck imo. Zero agility is pretty much a dealbreaker.
I think leaving the vader ship for last might be the better option.
That way if they are actually using vader most turns, by the time you've killed off the other ship, the vader ship will be mostly dead as well from self inflicted damage.
But vader is more likely to proc on a 360 arc ship as oppoosed to a shuttle.
I don't have much troubles using the doomshuttle until it's dead for the most part, so for me that would be a completely unneeded change for a ship that costs the double.
Ill be trying out Stressinators, and maybe Raminators, but I really despise Vader as a crew member.. I dont like blowing up my own ships.. seems counter productive.
But I got my Decimator, and have cut out my decals to stick on the 'wings' woo hoo!

Also disagree on the idea that the Decimator thrives at Range 1. My experience against them was the opposite. You want them at Range 3, where their firepower and hull is protected by an actual defense die. At range 1, attackers get an extra offense die against that zero agility, and they go up like a firework.
Edited by PhantomFOThere are stress sinks, For the Rebels there are pilots that remove stress when taking or spending target locks and a pilot that re-rolls dice when stressed, there is even a pilot that can still do actions when stressed.
For imperials there is a shuttle which can take stress away from ships and ships that get focus tokens when stressed.
This is how the
feels in range 1 of enemy ships:
