After taking a bit of a painting hiatus to work on some other things, I got around to painting a Phantom last night. I decided to give a go at the subtle blue effect from the "Echo" pilot card. Rather pleased with the results!

When I clicked on this I was thinking, "OK, seen one Phantom repaint, seen them all," but this is exceptional. Best one I've seen so far.

Whisper is the girl, Echo is the guy. Really.
Compared to the card I love it, but the 2 phantoms now don't really go together, since they use 2 different ways of decloaking. That said, I wouldnt give a flying rhino about that and just enjoy the great paint job 
They are just at different phases of the process, that's how I see it.
That truly is a thing of beauty! I love how you've found a great in-universe reason to really spice up the look of the model.
Thanks! Yeah I see it the same way as Hexis; they are simply in different stages of the cloaking/de-cloaking process. I based the "Whisper" model off of her card as well:
So I think fluff wise, it must just be different stages of the same process.
