Not getting much support in my efforts to start a league

I've been showing up at the FLGS every tuesday and thursday evening for the last three weeks to teach folks to play CoCLCG and it has gone pretty well. Lots of folks have learned, claimed to enjoy, given me their email addys. Encouraging. One guy bought the core set and another guy ordered two more last Tuesday.

I paid FFG for two league kits by CC and three Mondays ago got an e-invoice saying they had shipped. But, no, email communications asking for status confirm that, they STILL have not shipped them. Perhaps FFG is unmotivated since they have already debited my card (?)

Last night I found out that the FLGS has not yet ordered the two additional core sets my player ordered from him a week ago !!

I'm beginning to wonder about this effort.

Here's a supportive, "Keep it up!" The FLGS has some purchasing mechanism that's not working for you. Did the players pre-pay? If so, then they need to get a move on. Otherwise, all you can do is push nicely, "Hey, I've almost got something going here. I need a little better timing from you as support, guys."
Now your FFG order will be SWEEEET once you get it. If it's got all the trinkets threatened, please take some pictures of the poker decks and chips to post. Perhaps FFG has some secret federal vetting process and you are currently under surveillance. Act natural!

I was trying to go to my FLGS for their monthly CoC tournament, unfortunately it was at 6 p.m. on Mother's Day. I wanted to play, but I didn't think I wanted the injuries that would have resulted from not taking my wife out to dinner.

I'm hoping to get there this month.

Good luck with your try at starting the league. Tell us how it went (along with the photos) when you get the chance.

My local game store was supposed to have ordered one of the original league kits (I think they were different than the ones shipping now) a month or two ago. Nothing has arrived yet. I wonder what's going on.

Zoltar, note that my league kit arrived May 28th, not long after I originally posted this thread. I have reviewed the kit not far away on this forum. It is really nice.
