Kudos for Fantasy Flight

I recently jumped on the Battlelore bandwagon and bought the base set plus two expansions. Unfortunately, once I opened the big box read the rules and started a parts inventory I noticed a missing card (Lore-Warrior-13, Assault) in the lore deck. Weird since everything seemed carefully factory sealed and I've never had a missing part from a Days of Wonder game before. Once online I found the game was now owned by Fantasy Flight. So I sent off a message via this website to customer service fully expecting either a request for proof of purchase, a replacement cost, or a 'sorry, we don't stock parts for this former but soon to be reprinted DOW game'. To my surprise I shortly got a email back stating my replacement card was in the mail...no questions asked. A week later the card arrived, first class international mail, securely protected by an inner envelope with a note from Thaad Powell (I assume the customer support guy) 'Robert, Here is your missing Battlelore Card! Thanks for Playing'. WOW, I couldn't expect better customer service.

It also shows that FF has spare Battlelore parts for just such a situation.

Thaadd is the customer support LADY .

Now see if she can do something about FF's pledge to get "Heroes" out by last winter.

LOL I made this mistake too. Maybe Thaad should should call herself Ms. (or Mrs.) Thaad Powell. :)

(red face), Sexism trip, I just 'assumed' Thaad was a male without much thought. At any rate she is top notch at the customer service.

Thaad Rocks. Helped me on a similar Descent issue, and as I recall my gaming group had a Runebound issue she speedily fixed as well.

I totally agree. Thadd is the best! She helped me out this the Goblin Marauder banner issue recently. Very quick response... no questions asked. Great support!

Top notch customer service at Fantasy Flight. It really does go a long way.

FFG has always been very good about customer service. At this point, nearly all my games come from FFG with a few exceptions from Rio Grande Games.

Ya, I couldn't agree more. FFG's customer service is far and away the best of any game company I've had to deal with. This thread is just one of many singing Thaadd's praises, and with good reason.

Yep - neever had a BL issue but she replaced a pair of broken Descent spiders quicker than I could imagine.. and they came better packaged than I had a right to expect !
