Seeing Red (& Other Qs)

By v22TTC, in Dark Heresy Rules Questions

1 If your adventure takes you to Sepheris Secundus, as an offworld Imperial Adept on Imperial business (without flashing the rosette), how much does the 'Only the Queen and her operatives can wear red' thing apply? I understand that you wouldn't want to ostentatiously wear red robes but what about your purity seals, war decorations or uniform? Do the cogboys get away with it due to their robes being rust red and their unusual, quasi-sovereign [heretical lengua.gif ] status?

2 Is the cost of Recoil Gloves per pair or single glove (I'm guessing single)?

3 Does an Assassin have to buy an injector to be able to use her Stimms? Is it a half or full action to inject a drug (the text contradicts itself)?

4 From where can you download the Vehicles Apocrypha now? A nice link would be appreciated! happy.gif

5 Given that the rule for which weapons can use Inferno Shells were written before there were any published pistol shotguns, do people play that pistol shotguns can't use them (given the wording and balance, it seems they shouldn't)?

Cheers in advance!

Tssk, and I said 'Cheers in advance!' and everything ... now I look like a naive, optimistic fool.... llorando.gif gui%C3%B1o.gif

1. That's really a "up to the GM" thing but i'd imagine anyone other than Mechanicus will be arrested which could be hilarious for Redemptionists.

2. Single glove ( I mind there was a whole debate about if you could use 2 or not ages ago)

3. I'd imagine an Assassin starts with an injector otherwise it's a bit pointless having the stimm. Though if you go strictly by what's written you may have to stump up that whole 5 thrones! Full action as far as I can see, where are you getting half action from?

4. Over on Dark Reign (it's number 4 on this list: http://www.darkreign40k.com/index.php?searchword=apocrypha&option=com_search&Itemid=

5. Don't know the official rule but if the shot pistol has a chamber for a regular shell and a Inferno shell is the same size logicly theres no problem.

Funnily enough, Sandy Mitchell's novel Scourge the Heretic has a redemptionist assassin on Sepheris Secundus (it also has a techpriest, but for some reason, all the techpriests in Sandy's universe wear white...). She compensates by switching her red bandana for red underwear, though she's at least a little softened up in her beliefs (by which I mean notifying people about what she considers sinning instead of killing them outright when they suggest it) by the Assassinorum.
