Power of the Shadows...

By Cachalote, in UFS Rules Q & A

Does it work with effects like Turn It On?

From the NEW rules:

"8.3 The Attack Sequence
Once you have successfully played an attack as a Form (through the steps outlined at either 8.1 or 8.2),
you enter the attack sequence. It is comprised of the following steps: Enhance Phase, Block Step,
Damage Step, and Reversal Step."

Then, I need a previous step to resolve Turn It On and make this interact with Power of the Shadows's requirement (...only playable if you have drawn cards during this attack). I suppose that exist after the control check is done.

I'm right?

Can I discard a card from my card pool.

obviously: Turn It On, attack with printed difficulty > 1, draw the card (during this attack¿?), E power of the shadows, discard Turn It On.

Thanks.

Yes you can draw, since Turn it On says "after you play a card" so it triggers after the attack has reached your card pool and you've entered the attack sequence. The draw part would fall within the boundaries of the attack duration and so you would be drawing a card during the attack, fulfilling the requirements of Power of the Shadows.

stamp for cascade. the draw is indeed considered "during" the attack.
