Darkness Blade

By AwesomeDhalsim, in UFS Rules Q & A

My opponent play Darkness Blade E: , I passed my E:, Opponent Play an E: from a foundation; My Character was already committed; My only Chester Backing is among the highest difficulty card readied in my staging area; Now, can I negate my opponet's E: from the foundation with my Chester Backing, or my Opponent commit my Chester Backing by Darkness Blade's Floating E: before I can react with my Chester Backing? Also, if I can negate my opponent's E: with my only Chester Backing, did the Darkness Blade floating E: still trigger because an E: ability had been played by my opponent or not triggered because the effect of the E: from my opponent's foundation had been negated?

Thanks.

floating Es resolve before Trigger window

more specifically, any waiting/continuous effects must resolve before any response abilities on the same trigger may be played. so, the floating effect of the Darkness Blade's enhance must resolve before any responses (e.g. chesters) may be played.

I'd never even noticed that fact, not that it's ever come up for me... I feel the need to abuse this card.
