Order Still on Top?

By Smazzurco, in UFS Deck Building

So after running some aggro (Hata) and some hybrid (siggy) the last few weeks i had to at least build a control deck, even if i am not going to play it.

Deck is built for either Promo Rashotep (most likely who id use to pilot it), or Q (foundation disruption + why does it matter if opponent has a 10HS if they can't play anything?)

Attacks - 8

Kuzuryu Reppa x4 6/3

High Plasma Beam x4 4/3

Actions - 6

Tag Along x3 5/4

Rejection x3 3/5

Assets - 8

The Secret Project x4 3/3

Olcadan's x4 0/6

Foundations - 36

Forethought x4 1/5

Blood Runs True x4 2/5

The Lord of the Makai x4 2/6

Aquakinesis x4 1/5

Program Malfunction x4 3/5

Psycho Style x3 2/5

Experienced Combatant x3 3/5

Charisma x1 2/4

Cutting Edge x1 2/5

Chinese Boxing x4 3/4

The Anti-K x4 1/5

EDIT: REMOVED SEALS AND MAKAI HIGH NOBLE, UPPED OWLFACE TO 4

Sideboard would have 4 seals

Avg CC.4.5

Avg Dif.2.49

Basic idea is a complete lockdown. If no anti-K in your opening hand you most likely mulligan. If you can either go first and drop a secret project, a forethought, and 2 other foundations that is -3 to your opponents first check...if you have an anti-K in hand thats -5. Going 2nd you definately want them to just make a check so you can anti-K. If playing rasho then if they drop a few foundations no big deal, just your hand is smaller until you can strengthen your lock.

In playtesting twice by turn 4 i had 2 forethoughts and 2 Secret Projects. Thats basically -6 to a check...if you can commit the opponents board then you can pretty much guarantee them a wasted turn. Another thing that worked a few times was to anti K their turn 1, while holding a 2nd anti-k. Then anti them again turn 2, backed by forethought. By turn 3 you can tag along and reget those anti-Ks and keep them locked long enough to get a few more projects/forehtoughts/BRTs out.

Even with some adjusting if i can get this deck near perfect, it still is something i wouldn't "want" to play, lol. Soooo bording and no fun.

The EC's can come out if running rashotep...but would definately run them with Q. Also if i can get my hands on some Ispins id probably try to fit those in...with LotM they suddenly aren't a problem anymore.

Other cards i were thinking about were Tenacious and Dancing Battler Kabuki...recuring Ispins or being able to beam once a turn is kinda good. And card draw never hurts

Suggestions would be much appreciated. Im bringin order back

ira spinta x3 has got to come in, you just get back whatever they add with lotm either way baby, it's bottom E is so sexual chocolate.

up olcadans to at least 3 of. if someone happens to get out destiny somehow on you you need to be able to nom it up. spinta and birdman make sure of that. looks pretty sexy and i had this sort of deck in mind for rashotep. i know secret project is hot but i'd probably cut it honestly. it is a nice lock but forethought and complete board tap is always enough. meh idk, secret is good. just playtest it more and more.

up prog malf to 4 and run 3 chinese boxing at least too. card is way to underrated. esp in an order lock down deck.

if you add in spinta adding in tenacious is hot tech too. tenacious and psycho style action side also equal gg for chun li, no r, go to town on her.

For a lockdown deck, you have way too many attacks, you should remove neo raging storm, and add the bigger they are to pull more cards from your deck.

Yeah -- if you can lock your opponent out of the game, you have absolutely no reason to run any attacks but Reppa {which has much utility outside of its damage} and Fweem {which is just as efficient a kill as you can get for a deck that spills foundations like Order}

Lol. Bringing order back? Sorry good sir but it never left. Also I was thinking the same thing as shajir, your a control deck that plays 10 attacks, 7 assets with a 3cc, 17 3 or less, not so control. Well really that is old control, new control is much more efficient than that. I would keep just the reppas.
