So played my 3rd solo play

been playing for the nun and Carolyn Fern against Nyrlathotep

it was relaxing play in a first half (visiting some shops, collecting clues ) until the nightmare began, Carolyn tryed to explore one of the gates...

well she succeded... or so she thought as as soon she closed the gates (not enough clues to seal -sigh-) and the mythos phase brought on her head another gates... as being brave and with stable mind she didnt gave up next turn used find gates and returned to arkham to close gates and finaly go turn in those trophys. But it was delusion of hers as after mythos turn monster from the sky attacked her, as she decided to fight it next turn seeing how weak it is. But all her die failed and she was draged to the nearest gates due monster effect (cant remember the monster name)...

So long story short, at some point mythos got terrible experiment and as Carolyn was in other worlds and nun couldnt get into location due some tough monster sitting in there the arkham was overun with monsters, and shortly after GOO steped into it.

i was uterly defeated but still Carolyn ended with 6 gate trophys lol as she allmoast allways got into other worlds due mythos card or monster effect lol.

Still cant believe my luck (hmm maybe better say negative luck lol) with those travels throu the dimensions.

Hey thanks for the report, my wife and I played a game recently where the same kind of thing happened to her, went into the woods to close a gate and had it pop open on her twice after closing it twice !

Your English is fine I didnt have any trouble understanding what you said. Have fun and get some group games in with other people if you can ! I'm finding that people you wouldnt expect to appreciate the game, sometimes suprise you.

Heh ya my mom is abit interested in it (that was bigest surprise lol as she dont understand english )

also due my work it hard to find time to play with others so i play solo when i can and hoping to get to play with some friends this weekend

And yea that's the monster that was giving trouble to my investigator, managed to get rid of him when closed his dimension gate (serves him right for tossing my into em).

Already started to think what expansion to get next, even if i didnt won once yeat

I would go with Dunwich Horror next if you want another board. If you just want more cards then King in Yellow is good too. Curse of the Dark Pharaoh is the most confusing so probably buy it last.

Hope they hurry up and release Innsmouth...
