The Pharaoh's Crown Strike

E: Name a card. Your opponent may not play the named card as a block to this attack.

With the way this is worded, can it prevent the use of Mysterious Stance for its abilities?

Mysterious Stance

E Commit, commit 1 foundation: When you could block during the Block Step of this attack make a control check against a difficulty of X. If successful, this attack is completely blocked. X equals the speed of this attack.

It depends, because the attacks says "may not be played as a block to this attack", and mysterious stance is not played as a block, it plays an ability that counts as blocking. However i would like it if that were the case.

Stamp for the Babel Fish. Mysterious Stance isn't being "played as a block" - you're playing an Enhance ability that generates a block effect. The block is never "played", notably.
