Soiree, Wind and Kick themed deck suggestions.

By Charitsune, in UFS Deck Building

I hope I put this in the right forum but I'm new to the game and I think I'm taking a liking to Air and Kick attacks. I love Capoeira and thought Soiree was the perfect candidate for my hand built deck. So I wanted to know what key cards could I use for my dubbed Soiree Wind Capoeira Deck? I don't have much of a collection right now but I willing hunt down the needed cards needed for this deck. Also I wanted to know when does Soiree rotate out just in case I get my hopes too high. If any pros can help out a dumb founded noob I'd appreciate it.

if you're willing to dedicate(and by dedicate i mean IGNORE people that tell you no one plays legacy, that is B.S. and they know it) you can have a very well themed Capoeira deck off of either Air or Water, but off of straight air you got these to chose from and i tried to keep it 3cc attacks ONLY

Crossfire Blitz
Double Mittwoch
Double Somersault Kick2[better for Guile]
Fei Long's Forward Kick[better for Hanzo and Ivy]
Fei Long's Roundhouse[have fun finding one]
Flying Side Kick
Grappling Knee Strike[really only has one use unless you run weapons in your deck]
Hoyoku Sen[best used by Chun Li]
Hurricane Punishment
Knee Gatling[overlooked card]
Mountain Sweep[another overlooked card]
Rising Rage Flash
Swing Kick2[2 difficulty isnt something to argue with]
Yoko Sen Kyaku[3 difficulty and a reversal AND clears itself, sign me up]
Zi Mei's Wheel Kick[stun 3, nuf said]

2cc Attacks to maybe look at
Supreme Rising Rage Flash(possible Huge Damage bonuses if your opponent attempts to "blanket" their staging area with TOO much of any cards)
Reverse Spin Kick2(good block, Reversal AND the ability to Positive Hax your next block check... nice... if only that 2cc wasn't on there)

i'll leave it up to you as to how you want to run your deck but there are your attacks that are kicks and have Air for a resource

Thanks a billion. I'll check out the hobby store's single card collection to find some of these cards. I don't mind going legacy either but I was worried about trying to play Soiree at a standard tourney with intentions of going far with him this year and he can't be played after I bust my hide building his deck.

Some 'staple' Air cards for your consideration:

Attacks:

Double Mittwoch (Soiree finisher)

Rising Rage Flash (solid stats, great block baiter)

Foundations:

Chester's Backing (universal negation of your opponents SA, Promo and very hard to get)

Tira's Contract (damage negator, Promo and also very hard to get)

Lord of the Makai (Darkstalkers 2 box topper, Promo hard to get, the best momentum gen card in the game today)

Chinese Boxing (Commits your opponents SA and doesn't allow them to ready that card for a Turn)

Shooting Capoeira (Readies cards during the combat phase)

Blinding Rage (found in the Sagat Starter, anti-Owlface)

Makai High Noble (anti-Owlface)

Depending upon what you would like your Soiree to do, you would want to look at some other cards as well, of course.

Still, hope this helps some...
