So, is Kitty Spike still top-tier?

Felecia with Spike got 3rd in the Shwa Regionals. Chun Li has been top 8 in EVERY SINGLE REGIONAL. I don't see anyone winning anything with Fire Kick or Neo Raging Storm. Launcher/Breaker combos win cause they're run in Evil (one of if not these strongest symbol) decks which hack the hell out of everything you try to block with.

3 top 8 decks were running Spike at the Shwa regionals. At the very least (I'm pretty sure other decks did).

. Demand arises because of a cards effectiveness .

$25 Raging Gnomes. That is all.

You still they'll be worth that in a month let alone a year? People have got all twitchy about something that says 3 Difficulty 7 Damage, that will change when the new and shiny wears off and people realise what the card actually does. 3 Difficulty 2 Damage.

I now have a set of Raging Gnomes. While I could make a killing in CSI buy lists for the BEST 3L2 attack in history (lol), I actually want to run it.

Doesn't matter if you think it's a temporary thing; demand arises because it's demand, and demand will fluctuate regardless of how good the item is. Remember Shining Blade? It was nearly impossible to find, even if it was ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS because of its terrible stats. Why? It was a Lillith/Morrigan card.

Now you can swipe your very own for $0.75, then again it doesn't help that it also rotated.

Spinning Beat is still going for $28, yet one Bitter Rivals out and there's no way it can get played unless the person has 4 attacks in hand. Its usefulness is incredibly debatable, and it's also been about 5 months since its release. Yet it's priced as much as Feline Spike, even though Feline Spike can do what Spinning Beat does, but better and with no restrictions (comparing within the Good resource).

Price isn't really a good comparison. Controller of Souls is another inexplicable venture into the +$20 cards that shouldn't be. Woot it negates an asset for All................................. yay?

If a card:

1) Is shiny?

2) Has boobies? (This is optional but increases the price)

3) Is remotely useful?

4) Is Ultra-rare?

It will sell for $20 bucks regardless.

I know at least one of the Spike decks didn't.

Right but i mean overall. How many decks without spike ran it?

That'd require me paying attention. IIRC, the top 2 (Akuma/Zi Mei) didn't but mostly because I didn't see it when I faced them.
