Menuett dance?

By Da_ghetto_gamer, in UFS Rules Q & A

so this is pretty simple i was just wondering since all of its multiple copies get the same enhance once you use the enhance on the original copy does it stack multiple times? like does the original attack give the multiples the enhance and then the first multiple copy would use it again giving it to the second multiple copy(and third) the same enhance again?

the only way i could see it not working like this would be if the additional phrase at the end didnt carry over for some reason when the enhance was givin 2 the multiple copies

Its probably been over before but i couldnt find it and i dont feel like searching in case it really isnt there

The enhances won't stack because when you play the ability on the first multiple copy the 2nd and 3rd copies are considered copies of the original attack, not the first copy.

A multiple card cannot have a multiple off it because any multiple copies created from a multiple copy are discarded instead.

It's like stacking characters, put the same version on twice doesn't mean you can use the same ability twice. So no, they don't stack, each one can pump it's speed once only.

it says each of this cards multiple copies, and since they are not the multiple's copies they do not get the E

Yes it stacks.

Example: You play MD. You enhance with multiple 3. (Card pool is: MD, M1, M2, M3)

You lose 2 life, give MD +2 speed, and all multiples gain that enhance.

You resolve the attack.

M1 has one copy of the enhance, which you use (losing another two life to do so. M2, M3 and the original MD all have 2 copies of the enhance now. Of course you can't use the "new" enhance on the original MD because it has resolved, so that's largely irrelevent.

You resolve M1.

You play the copied enhance on M2 twice, losing 2 life both times giving M2 a total of +4 speed. MD and M3 now have 4 copies of the enhance. M1 has 3 copies (again irrelevent).

You resolve M2.

You play the copied enhance on M3 4 times, losing a total of 8 life to get +8 speed on it. You "lost" a total of 16 life this turn, to (ideally) do a total of 20 damage.

Congrats.

Obviously you need to use Meat Eater and Homing Dragon Water Cane to play even more multiples, as the fourth would have the enhance 8 times, allowing you to kill yourself for sure.

"each of this attack's multiple copies gain this enhance"

Those multiples didnt create any multiples there no stackage o_o;

I wish you had posted the card or at least quoted the actual text DGG.

Stamp for Mastermajora.

i figured it had been gone over before and would be a prompt answer one way or the other so i didnt bother

So, to clarify...Each of this attack's multiples gain this Enhance...it really means that you can play that Enhance again on each multiple copy...i.e. Pay the cost and that attack gains +2 spd...but they are separate instances, and do NOT stack, correct?

Another example would be Supreme Rising Rage Flash...each multiple copy gains the original's Enhance, but you still have to pay the cost separately....

Yes??

Well yes.

Even if it did stack, you would have to pay the cost for each extra instance. However it doesn't stack in this instance.

And yes, if you were able to play more then 1 multiple for SRRF you could use the enhance on each one, assuming you did use it on the first, and payed the cost each time.
