Hey, thinkin about posting some Tannhauser fanfiction here. Perhaps a full go through of the first game. I already have a few ideas on how to go with it.
Operation Tannhauser: Operation Report R-979
Chapter 1
Enter the Captain
He saw a black forest all around him. He feet treaded through a muddy path. His hand gripped around his gun to be ready against anything that would attack, though his scope showed there was noone around.
"Said drop us close togeher they said. Thas the last time I trust command," He muttered to himself. He looked at his Dog tags like he always did before a mission. They always read:
Captain John MacNeal
#1893639
Suddenly he heard a twig snap and he quickly switched on his scope again. A heat signature was close. He ducked behind a group of bushes for consealment as he watched the figure go by. A Reich Schocktrupen strolled past. His face conseaaled by the gas mask he wore. MacNeal took aim with his gun. A burst of shots flew out of it, all of them hit the soldier in the head. MacNeal walked over to assess the damage and let out a low whistle, the rounds tore through the helmet and mask with ease.
"Flash guns work." He muttered. "Now to find everyone else."
He bagan walking again down the path. "This way to the enemy." He said, noting all the footprints in the path.
"Hope everyone else is alright."
Chapter 2
Alpha, Alpha...where art thou?
"How did this happen?" Muttered Private Wilson Smith, more commonly refered to by his codename "Commando Alpha" Right now, he was hanging upside down from a tree by his parashute. His flash gun was on the ground, some 20 feet below him, same with his grenade sachel. And his rough terrian training never covered being hung by a tree.
"Guess this is what I deserve." He muttered. "Shouldn't have listened to Delta, why in the world did I peek? Oh yeah, the Cap was doing it too." Suddenly he realized he wasn't alone.
Tromp, Tromp, Tromp.
The boots of a Schooktrupen drew closer and closer. Alpha struggled with the parachute lock, it wouldn't budge. "**** cheap manufacturer." He grumbled as he continued to try and make it unlock.
The Shocktroopen was in view now, it walked over to his dropped equipment and then looked up. At him.
"You Englishmen are so silly." It said in accented English as it pointed his gun at him.
"I'm American actually." At that moment the lock chose to unlock. Sending him flying down to the ground, landing on the trooper. "Thanks for playing pillow." He said as he took the trooper's MP 40 and proceeded to unload it in his chest. After that little deed was done, he slinged his sachel of grenades and looked over his flash gun. Haveing spotted no damage, he then looked down the trail the Shocktrooper used. "Guess thats the way to the Thing that ends the World." He said to himelf as he walked down the path.
"I hate this job."
Good stuff
is this a Novgorod scenario?
In any case keep going - I'm a fan
OOC: No, this is the original Tannhauser senario. I might do Novgorod afterwards.
Chapter 3
The Creed of Delta
One shot, one kill.
I am Ethan Esterdon, codename Commando Delta. I am His Majesty's sword. I am His shield.
Walk silently, kill quickly.
My gun is in my hand. My armour is ready.
There are no rules. Only the will restricts.
I creep towards my objecive. Past guards and my own fears.
Fear is fuel for the body and mind.
Two enemies block my path. There is no way around. I draw my gun. I take aim.
One shot. *Bang* One kill.
The other raises his gun. There is no time to flee. I stand my ground and cock my gun again.
He fires round after round, carelessly aiming. Most miss. Some hit. but my armour merely glows and deflects, as I take my next shot.
One shot. *Bang* One kill
I begin my march once more. Towards the home of the fated foe.
Walk silently, kill quickly.
I am Commando Delta. I will fulfil my mission.
Chapter 4
A Privates View
Private Claus was having a strange day. Ever since they had arrived at this...crypt, he officers had all gone strange. Er.
Von Heizinger had been muttering to himself a lot, seemingly talking to people who didn't exist.
His guardian, Karl Zermann, had been growing more paranoid lately, never letting his master out of his view.
And that Blutsturm agent, Eva Kramer, she was off sneaking about more often as well, falling into her nich of spying. (And looking quite hot too.)
Still, he had a job to do, guard the door leading to inside the building. Simple as that. Still, he had plenty of ammo on both a pair of shoulder packs and belt pockets, so no worries there, plus he had a first aid kit, with the training to use it. So all was well there too.
Anyways, every thing was fine and quiet. Until something happed.
All of the sudden, a strange and evil presence swept through the crypt, passing through Claus as if it were searching he soul.
Went it left, he was glad, but inside the building, he felt that something bad was about to happen.
