When you're running a lot of Rashotep support, you start blanking out a lot of the opponent's staging area. It can get pretty tricky for them to remember what cards they can use and what cards they can't use.

So I created these handy-dandy Blanking Tokens. I took the the KNEEL BEFORE ME! art, did a slight modification, and copied it several times into a 7.5" x 10" .jpg. I ran out of room at the end, so the last token in each column says "EEL BEFORE ME!" which I think is just as good.

I didn't do the bestest job of copying/pasting, or even resizing for that matter. Feel free to take, edit, or make your own. The point was humorous functionality, rather than perfection. I hope you enjoy.

Just cut them out, and slip them in a sleeve for storage with your deck. When you blank an opponent's text box, pull one out and cover up that box. Collect them at the end of the turn.

You don't want to flip them over, because there are Siegfried card effects that DO flip cards over.

Being face-down is an in-game card state. So you don't want to flip them over for the same reason that you don't just turn cards sideways to mark them as having "a token". Turning them sideways has a particular meaning (being committed).

It really matters because an Earth-based deck with Siegfried and Rashotep support is entirely viable, where you could be blanking half the opponent's staging area, and face-downing the rest.

EDIT: I just realized that you might have meant turn them 180 degrees to mark them. Yeah, that would work. But it would also be less fun. (;

Honestly I'd have just made a talking balloon that said "UH DURR!" as a token, perhaps with an awesome face. This is still good though.

When blanking, been turning the card upside down, kinda like how people were playing with Addes Syndicate while it was legal. Seems to do the trick pretty well.
