Obstacles question

By Intys Rule, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Imagine flying a large ship, then you end up over an asteroid. You don't get to shoot but luckily, you didn't get any damage from flying over the rock. Next turn, there is a furball in front of you and you basically do not move from your spot (one of the other ships flew into you).

Do you:

1. Roll again for being over the asteroid?

2. Miss your shooting again since you are still over the asteroid?

3. If you had a stress token and did a green maneuver, does it get removed even if you did not move?

This evening, we just ruled that I didn't have to roll again for being over the asteroid, but that also meant I couldn't shoot.

Thoughts?

Yes, Yes, and Yes.

1. If you land on the asteroid after your maneuver, you have overlapped it and deal with it appropriately. This includes being blocked by other ships so you don't move, or an intentional stall (Lambda, Inertial Dampener).

2. You're still overlapping the obstacle during the combat phase, so no attack.

3. Even though you didn't go anywhere, you still executed a green maneuver, so you take all the effects which result from that. Remove stress, Lando could still hand out an action, R2-D2 would cover a shield, etc.
