For those who went to Gen-con are the squares on the IA tiles the same size as Descent tiles? Also do they have the same connectors? It would be cool to use both in each game system when creating custom campaigns.

Yes, they are the same size (1-inch grid). I can't say for sure about the connectors, but I think they probably would be; maybe if someone wanted to look closely at the demo video again, they could verify.

I've just compared what we see on the demo with pictures of Descent 2.0 tiles, and it seems like the tiles would fit perfectly.

Armored Cartographers makes maps that you can use for your own homebrewed and custom campaigns.

Most are inexpensive at $6.00 a map, there are some maps that can be linked to become two or four part larger maps. I am guessing a lot of them will go on sale Black Friday.
