Morality - It's Incorporation in an Existing Game

Duty and Obligation didn't have as great an effect on a player if the GM got the mechanical aspect running at a bad pace.

If he removed obligation too fast he just removed a good number of adventure hooks and made his job harder. If he increased the players obligation over 100 it could be argued that while the GM gave them many opportunities to increase thier obligations the players chose to take them.

With duty increasing it at the wrong pace would just mean the players got too much for doing nothing or did a lot for little reward. In either case there would be little damage done and the GM could adjust the pacing of the rewards to content 'til he got it better.

With morality being semi-random it could be frustrating if you took a 30, played for a short session then rolled a 10 when the only conflict opportunity for you was to lie. Understanding the pacing right from the start and getting it right is quite important for the GM.
