Maybe they realized their replacements are also of poor quality...
Book Binding
I'll be very careful with it when it arrives here, but I'll have to use it regardless so completely opening the book (lay it flat on the table) will be part of it.
If the binding is poor, it's bound to fall apart at some point, being careful or not.
You don't happen to be from around Antwerp, Robin?
Limburg
Cool, it's a small world.
Maybe someday we can do some RP sessions.
Belgium's a small country
Yeah someday...
Don't RP nearly as much as i'd like, usualy gamenights are all about the card, board and dice games, these days.
Not that you hear me complaining tough.
Just finished first very careful reading of mine and the last few page sections have separated and the stitching is visible.
Only other FFG book that went bad on me was Disciples of the Dark Gods.
Im in the UK and doubt FFG will send a replacement here.
The page count should not matter, I have larger books, not rpg, which are secure after years of use.
Edited by andysyk1I don't think the location matters that much. I've had my Black Crusade core rulebook replaced last year and I'm from Belgium.
My theory is somebody effed up during (what i hope is only part of) the first print run.
@ Gridash where do you get your game stuff from? the Outpost?
Yeah, I'm in the UK too (though maybe not after Thursday!) and they've agreed to send a book over to me.

As in buying? Mostly Amazon, cheaper than The Outpost.
As in playing? Yeah, The Outpost is a nice central location.
It's been two weeks since they sent me the "In Process" update. No additional information yet, so I sent them another email this morning.
As for my book, it's now up to seven stacks that are separated from the glue...
I think I might have to legitimately ban my players from touching my book if it's this bad. One of them will find an electronic copy...I hope.
Maybe they realized their replacements are also of poor quality...
If that's the case then they could at least let me know.
^this
A simple, "we know there is a problem and it will be addressed" would suffice.
Or maybe the send you a bottle of book binder's glue, a DYI guide about book repair and a note: "sorry, entire run affacted, so no point in replacing it. Here you go fix it yourself."
I wouldn't mind that either to be honest.
Just received an email saying the book should be sent out this week.

Great news !
fingers crossed!!!
I suppose international shipping will take another fortnight, hopefully no problem with customs.
Or any problems with the binding!
So far my book is still ok.Nothing becomeing unglued or such.I feel much better knowing FFG will replace the book if it has a defective binding. For those getting replacement books, please let us know how they look.
Now I feel it's a pagecount thing, it's the last part of the book, the stuff that went over the normal page count for any other core...
Tzeetch what's up? Suddenly don't like change?
It appears to me that Tzeetch is upset that he didn't get Beta 1.0.
Got DH2E, first book was damaged, so went back to AMAZON, second book was fine for half a day, now the last two stacks are on their way to bidding for freedom.
Will FFG replace an amazon book? I just want a book that wont fall apart after a week.
Received notification that my replacement has shipped. Fingers are crossed that it doesn't have the "Bad Glue/Weak Spine" mutation too.
Im curious to know if anyone from Ohio has had this binding problem?

Pray to Nurgle to make it stronger.
