oh man ukyo's apple was the tech card of the time i mean did anyone realise how broken that combo was
glad people remember that and maybe it will put things in perspective
honestly people, the only card that I could every see banning is BRT, FFG has said itself that this card should not have been released, granted it was STG that made it, but FFG has control now. That card is the bane of all decks. "Oh look that's the card that's going to save you for the turn, now it's gone. Oh look another good card, that's gone. And another, and another, etc. so what if you draw a card off it, your opponent not only know a card in you hand, but has sinle handedly !@#$ed your turn depending one the circumstances. Owlface is really good, but it is a 6cc, which every deck SHOULD need. And the only thing I find annoying about spike is that chun-li can use it.(GOD HER EFFECT SHOULD COST MORE THAN JUST COMMIT)
Nothing done about Olcadan's again? I'm glad I'm quitting this game.

LOL.
"FFG has said itself that this card should not have been released"
No, they said it shouldn't have been released in that manne r , AKA as a starter deck box topper, making it far, far more scarce than it should be.
But... really, does anyone seriously still think BRT is broken at all with Willful and Hoping for a Challenge out now? I mean, it wasn't broken before - once again, I've seen it lose almost as many games as I've seen it win by now, even without stuff like those actions.- but now it can result in stuff like Hoping for a Challenge replacing that one lost card with 3-5, and god forbid you draw another copy of hoping for a challenge due to its effect...

If Spike is so overpowering compared to Combo decks, why are Launcher/Breaker decks winning everything right now and Spike decks... aren't?
Name some of this "long list of cards . . . that need to go immensely" and I'll pretty much prove you wrong on anything except Chesters, if you really want to do this dance.
edit: then again, I should probably just not bother, considering you've proved time and again in the past that you don't read other arguments, you just go WAAAAAH TIRED/INCORRECT POINTS ABOUT STUFF WAAAAH when you talk about cards you "don't like".
-Launcher/Breaker don't share any symbols with Feline Spike, so not only does that make them almost impossible to compare, but um, Launcher/Breaker has?
EVIL! Yes, Evil, the ever-lovely defining factor of what could push a card from great to "ugh". Evil has, for a very long time now been blessed with a legion of undercosted cards with universal effects and a harem of amazing characters that can do more than just generic crap like "lol I reduced your attack's damage by 3 woo hoo!"
-I'm not going to take part in this dance (unless it's the Safety Dance), because, much like you said, if you post a counter-argument, I will ignore it. Of course, you forgot to mention that, should I post my extremely intelligent views on why I think X-cards should be banned, you TOO would completely disregard my points. Thus is the fallacy of debate between two set opponents. Neither of us will budge, I promise you. I have my opinions on certain cards, and you have yours. You may disagree with me, but to repeatedly sandbag me only makes you look bad.
I'll do you a favor. I will compile the list of what I want banned. I'm not going to clog this thread with why, though. And should you decide to give me your opinions, I will read them, not care, and just LOL at the fact that you clogged this thread with your commentary on my opinions.
But anyways:
-Chester's Backing
-Rejection
-Blood Runs True
-Bitter Rivals
-.::::Chun-Li::::.
-Feline Spike
-Defender
there could be more, but that came from the top of the head
and as for some erratas, I could certainly see some of those lovely no-cost characters like Donovan, Herr, Olexa, Akuma, etc, get some costing.
You have no Idea my fracophone friend.

I quoted some one...the quote did not show.
Without trying to sound whiney, my personal opinion.
Bitter Rivals needs to be unique. People say it's not a problem, which is partially true if your opponent has out one. In multiples, the card is unmanageable.
Olcadans, is in the same boat as Bitter Rivals for me, needs Unique.

Well, here's how I've viewed it:
In the past, changing an attack's zone was a reward, something you had to use the likes of Homicidal Karate or Mist to achieve (excluding the broken Friends & Rivals). Furthermore, (selective?) discard has always needed some sort of cost, and not just by **Ukyo** or *Dhalsim* (cost? what's that?)
Well, now you have a card that can do both for free, and to be frank, 3/4 isn't justifying enough. While I can certainly understand it being Unique (which as we've seen from Charismatic means you'll likely run fewer copies), the fact that the ability has no cost is simply appalling.
With regards to Bitter Rivals, lets not forget that it now targets every keyword except punch, kick, and weapon...
It's gotten to the point where someone sitting on 3 Bitter Rivals can shut down your entire offense for free (and don't even start saying that a reveal is a cost since you get to see your opponent's hand as well and view what blocks they have, the number of attacks, any kind of actions, etc). Either they force you to discard 70% of your attacks or they switch the zone to be blocked with ease. I was seriously hoping to either see a ban or errata on this card (Unique or making it an E Commit: would have been better than nothing). Makes me long for the days of Lost Memories...
