Hello all, for a good couple of days now I've been wondering how this combo would work out, at a relatively low cost you can get quite nice support ship it seems like. As a base I was thinking something like

Omicron Shuttle + Advanced Sensors + Fleet Officer

Which ends up at 27 points. Can probably do without Adv sensors but it's a personal preference I guess. You could take this further with the inclusion of Jendon, but the point cost seems to rapidly increase at that point. With a fully decked out shuttle I'm thinking

Colonel Jendon + Advanced Sensors + Fleet Officer + Weapons Engineer + Experimental Interface + ST-321 title

But that ends up being quite the pricey buddy shuttle at 41 points(and I'll admit inclusion of some of those choices are completely unessecary). Still I am kinda interested to give something like this a try to see how it works. What do you all think?

I haven't seen a use for Fleet Officer really. Rexler isn't all that great cuz he's too expensive. So are the VTs.

I'll also say that I think Fleet Officer is too expensive. 3 points for a free focus... yay... and the ship with it gets a stress. last i remembered, shuttles dont take stress too well.

Fleet Officer is 3 points and a stress for 2 focus tokens on ships that can really make use of them. Sure, the Empire could do with crew-carrying ships that handle stress well, but that's not how we march.

I saw an interesting idea of running fleet officer on a cloaked phantom as a command ship with advanced sensors. I just don't know what you want to give the focus to. Rexler is a decent choice but then you are really relying on not much firepower. Just hard to see it being too effective. Maybe a bomber squad firing ordinance.

Yeah that was a problem I was thinking of, but at least it's range 1-2 so you get some wiggle room for your ships

Provided you can run a few ships with Wingman near it and/or Yorr, FO shuttle is pretty good. As an added bonus, doubled Wingman can set you up for a great parking lot with repeatable stop-moves.

Kir Kanos is a good, fairly inexpensive place to put Focus. He can double-pump his attack (Focus plus Evade token converted to damage) for an average of 3.25 damage. That's HLC quality damage.

Yeah Kir Kanos was one of the guys I was thinking of, but it was more because I really want to find an instance where I can properly use him
