One of my favourite things about X-Wing is that no matter how critical we are of the various ships we are eventually able to come up with some uses for them (other than the Tie Advanced... until it gets an update).

I remember hearing how terrible the Y-Wing, HWK, and Shuttle were almost ad nauseum. As different waves have come out we have found uses for all of them. They're not all necessarily super competitive, but they are still fun. The Shuttle has been one of the best surprises. Doom Shuttle and Buzz Saw are amazing.
