Hopefully we'll never see prequel ships. Unfortunately, I still suspect we'll still see a "I WANT PREQUEL SHIPS!!!" post once a week. Sigh.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing prequel ships. They've had enough time to grow on me. But constantly reasserting that they won't be made will have zero impact on whether or not they'll be put into the game, regardless of how good your reasoning is.

Why would it harm the community? Many of us can't stand unimaginative EU b******s that looks like a 12 year old "designed" (on in some cases, assembled it by accident after they broke their TIE Fighter) it, and their inclusion hasn't ruined the game or the community.

If some people are so selfish that the inclusion of a ship they don't like, which would make many people happy, would cause them to "harm the community and then the game" then I feel sorry for such people but shan't miss them.

I do nothing but push for "Prequel Crap"? Huh, I didn't know The Ghost, XG-1s, Missile Boats, YT-2000s, and other assorted vessels were from the prequel era. Go figure. Pardon me if I just like the idea of really varied ships like the N1 and the ARC-170, or perhaps even the ETA-2.

Absolutely - I have no objection to ships I can't stand being in the game, because they bring other people pleasure. I'm not that bothered about variety myself (I don't get to play enough - I already have loads of stuff I haven't had chance to try yet), but again - if it makes other people happy, then go for it.

I'd draw the line at the vong, but everything else has a place. The prequel ships, and other ships should be in the game. - even as uniques (as in 0-1 ship per list) they should still be possible.

What if a bunch of clones seceded from the empire and didn't follow 66 (there is precedent) and instead acted like a galactic -A-team flying ARC's against empire targets? I totally had that for a RPG project idea once. it would be as cool as hell to fly this. It would be justified. it most importantly of all would be awesome.

I'd of been more optimistic about Jarjars starwars if i hadn't seen those two fracking terrible startrek films now all i'm hoping for is it's okay, i can settle for okay but i cant take another prequel trilogy without someone dying.

CGI is a tool not a rule... JJ knows that. It is gonna rock. Just the few moments in the teaser had classic HEARTFELT STAR WARS all up in it. You can be a poop and tri-bladed nerd rage all yea want, but that badass new badguy was super cool. Look at how he whams that **** medieval blazing red saber out. Look at that Falcon zooming all around!
