I'm debating taking a rebel swarm filled with all novice level pilots with no upgrades. The list would look like:

2x rookie pilots

2x bandit squadron pilots

2x green squadron pilots with refits

Makes for 100 points. I'm wondering if anyone has any success with or against this style of list. It's no frills or upgrades just relying on numbers

Many swarms are filled with no-name pilots and no upgrades. I guess the question here could be how well the A-Wings will perform but they do give you some added speed and maneuverability. Another simple rebel swarm to consider is:

Rookie x3

Bandit x3

With that setup you can basically fly three pairs where each has a Rookie and Bandit pilot as the ships have very similar dials and the same PS.

Yeah I would drop the A-wings to fit in a third ship with three attack. XXXZZZ is pretty good, as is BXXZZZ.
