So I was bored last night and thought I might repaint my Firespray. I started off with a good white base, and was going to lay on some rusty reddish tones before any highlights and major colors. However I was tired, and not paying much attention and came out with this:

I'm not totally opposed to a pink Firespray. I just need to figure out where to take it from here. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Purple would work well, a nice deep purple, or grey. a dark grey works well with pale pink.

wont look daft in grey and if you dont like it you can always repaint the pink bits dark red or purple (againgrey and rust red or purple works well)

It's funny but I now have the pink panther theme tune in my head.

I'm not adverse to pink myself, just not pink space ships. If it were me I would be starting over.

Give it the shark mouth design and call it the Pink Panther!

Other than that, I'll add a vote to go with some grey detailing. Browns and dark reds are also good with it.

uhm. add a vibrate option by hotknifing into it? yknow, like how they make those falcons have engine lights.

how about deep red and deep purple highlights or lightning bolts running across it? with some black thrown in there for contrast.

you could keep pink limited to a few accent panels while keeping most of the ship white with a few royal blue details for contrast. You could probably still give it a muddy/weathered effect if you go a little lite with it.

I would say cut a deal with Pepto Bismol. There is a significant advertising opportunity to be had here...

What could be more demoralizing to your opponent than getting beat down by a pink Firespray?

One of my friends vehemently argues that only real men can do pink justice. So the question is perhaps, are you a real man?

I'm pretty sure I know a local player, who happens to be female, that would LOVE to have this. She did make a PinkBacca painted squad.

If you give it a good wash the color will change easily to something less pink.

Barbie collects her bounty from dropping of Ken in carbonite then splashes out on a new paint job.

I did some more work on it over my lunch break. I'm not the best painter in the world, but I don't think the pictures look as good as it does in person.
