Here is the link! Lots of great info from the minds at FFG and what/why they did what they did and what they are looking for in feedback (Concerning Force and Destiny)!

My gods, that was a long show...
You guys always do great though. I looked up the Kickstarter but being Military means that I can't really look that far ahead (for GNCON). Your guests are awesome. Honestly, on my ship I didn't get to bring a lot of stuff so I packed up about 3 months worth of the show. Kept me smiling while deployed. Seriously, Thanks.
Edited by GigerstreakAnother great show.
My gods, that was a long show...
considering this was the book I've been looking forward almost as much as you. Worth every minute. Hopefully folks from FFG will still continue to appear on the show. They always bring great insight.
Anyone want to provide a time to start listening for info about F&D?
Anyone want to give the highlights? In particular, what the devs would like to hear about from us.
I really can't stand listening to podcasts for more than about 20 minutes.
It is a long one and the F&D discussion is long. If you want to know give it a listen. Can't really be summed up.
Have to agree, great show and worth the full listen
DarthGM for the win on the questions! Just got to the part on modding crystals!

Do they go back and forth between discussing F&D and the other stuff (Far Horizons, the minis game, etc...) or is it broken up into sections by product? If the latter, I'd appreciate it if someone could give me a time to fast forward to for the F&D stuff, since I don't care about the minis game at all, and am only very mildly interested in Far Horizons, which I don't have.
No, it's pretty much all F&D. It's long, but worth it. The mention the other books in the beginning, but that's all.
It's definetly worth a listen. They're usually a bit to long winded for my tastes, but they get to the meat of the show reasonably quickly. You can probably skip the first 15 to 20 minutesish if all you want is F&D. That said the announcements portion before it has some good info also if you're interested in FFG's other Star Wars products.

I'm time stamping points. Stand by please.

Seriously I can;t listen to people blather... their voices fade into the background and my lizard hind brain just tunes them right out. I really need to see faces to keep my interest.
Oh thank ZOD! You are my hero for the next ten minutes!I'm time stamping points. Stand by please.

It's not quite that bad for me, but it's close. I can't stand listening to talk radio, either. I've listened to parts of Order 66 podcasts before, usually timestamped so I can skip to something I want to hear, or else I've skipped ahead a bit to see if something catches my ear before I close it.
My best friend of over 20 years has been doing a podcast about music for 2 or 3 years, and I've listened to it once , and on that I was at least in on most of the jokes and knew the people involved personally.
I can't stand listening to talk radio, either.
The only podcast is can even vaguely follow is The Diecast (Twenty Sided Blog's podcast) and that's only because after years of watching their Let's Play videos I'm almost used to listening and tuning in to their voices without their faces. Almost. I still have rewind frequently.

Skip to 41 minutes before they even start asking Sam questions which starts about asking about the setting/time frame.
Then goes into naming career/specs.
Then balance of muggles and Jedi (45mins). Main balance philosophy, it takes more xp and longer to advance than muggles.
Knight level 48 mins. Feedback on knight level wanted.
Compatibility with EoE and AoR at 51 minutes.
Morality at 52 minutes. Details of the system at roughly 56:30. Morality trigger 59:20ish. Morality rolls and chart about 1:04. GM's suggested should warn about Conflict issues 1:07-ish. 1:13ish Paragon and Sith levels. Starting Morality level 1:18ish. Other mechanics integrated 1:23 and will be covered more in CRB.
Species at 1:28 ish.
1:32 careers/specs. Why Lightsaber skill at spec level 1:41:30. FR+2 specs 1:43:20. Niman Disciple 1:44:50. Irregular specs 1:46:40. 1:50:40 Duelist Training.
1:54 group resources. Ship, Holocron, Mentor.
1:56:20 Lightsaber skill. 2:04 Shien Improved Reflect. 2:06 Lightsaber and starting equipment. Lightsaber construction 2:08. 2:09 Ancient Sword. 2:11ish Shoto. 2:12 Lightsaber types. 2:12:30 Cortosis. 2:18:30 Lightsaber attachments. 2:21ish goes into modding Lightsabers and the large number of mods may force a tweak to rules.
The Force 2:24.
2:42 Some non related questions.
That's the guts of it. Be nice if these fellas would keep a pad of paper and pencil handy and just jot this sort of stuff down and put it in a post.

Thanks. Listened to most of this...great info and I like getting to see the thinking behind the rules. Waiting through 40+ minutes would have been a chore.

Giger, I feel you. When I was ship's company on the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) I was actually playtesting WOTC's D20 Star Wars game while underway. Not fun. I'm glad you have some Order 66 Episodes to keep you entertained while Haze Gray.

I imagine there is some editing they have to do which would make their hand-written time stamps useless or incorrect.
GM Chris did try to endeavor to be more diligent with releasing time stamps, I'm not sure what happened with that.
Edited by kaosoeIf you use a podcasts app which can vary the speed, that's a good way to listen more efficiently. When I listen to Order 66 on my iPhone, I use 1.5 speed, which makes it go by a lot quicker but I can still understand everything. There's even a 2x speed which I use sometimes.
They do have an "Archivist" named Austin Katan who does do timestamped indexes on the episodes, but not usually the day after they appear.
As far as the timestamps, it probably takes a fair amount of time to do. And time is a luxury that GM Chris really doesn't have a whole lot of these days, particularly if he also wants to have a life and enjoy spending time with his wife and daughter.
Yeah, I feel the least I can do is listen to the whole thing. It's good stuff and I would hate to miss anything!
