It's like STG/FFG (whoever happens to be responsible for his design) had a meeting, and then decided to create a version of my favorite character just for me. Huge possibilities for control are huge. And he backs it up with very solid aggressive potential - he can iSpin, Spinning Beat, Defender loop, spam low difficulty attacks...all with a floating +X to damage.

I really, really want him to be released. And even if he isn't, or is banned upon release, I'm still going to make darn sure I have one, just like Ukyo and Ken.

Favorite characters are favorites.

Omar - still wish *D* could have taken on Vloldo at Worlds. Slow mill games are slow, and great for a laugh when I can't kill you and you can't mill me =/

Blanka - i see a couple good builds with him on Momentum Rush, though we'll have to see what the next 2 sets do to help him get better.

Knee Gatling Blanka will be sick and you know it.

Just so's people know, from what I've heard, Donovan and Mitsurugi will never see tournament play. We weren't meant to get them supposedly. Ah well, guess they'll just have to look pretty in my folder

SF7P: 2-Blanka, 11-Ken, 15-??, 17-Zangief

DS2P: 5-Donovan, 6-Felecia, 19-Victor

SNK4P: 2, 3, 4, 8. 14, and 15-Ukyo?

SC8P: 3 and 6

Felicia and Zangief were released this month I still do wonder what all those promos do lol ...

Just going alphabetically I'd guess at Ryu, since SF is taking a break from actual sets for 2009, I expect to see the overused SF characters getting promos, so I'd say plan to see Ryu, Cammy and Chun-Li promos next year, because we always need more .

Don't get your hopes up. That doesn't mean they've been sent out.

I need to get X on this. We rarely get them in time for our tournaments, and we're starting to lack good promos to hand out.

Only 2 new character? looks likes they are saving promos for regionals

2 Promos a month is beginning to bore me... I mean, seriously, how difficlt is it to release all these promo characters (who have clearly been printed having been on the print rolls for the sets themselves) all at once? Ninon, Rock, The Shadowar characters, Victor, Ukyo, Ken, Blanka, Abelia's Friendship and until having heard they were barred, Mitsurugi and Donovan. I wouldn't complain about the number if thy were completely new, but we've seen all this stuff before. I want something fresh and new, you know? I mean, even though Demitri and Felicia aren't all that fantastic, I still wanted them, because we'd never seen them before. I think we should have all the promos we already know about released at once, so that the prize pool can start afresh.

Looking at Ukyo just made me think of a Void deck for him... F Son of Arroyo, F Taking the Bait, 3 foundations/cheap attacks, clear, facesmash. Too bad the promo rotates within seconds of his legality

I was really looking forward to that Blanka. Wanted to see what the artwork was gonna' be too. Hopefully he wil be released in January. The Ken is really cool, just decent art though. I do like the Yellow "Mustard Ken" version.
