Campaign Pool Thus Far

By PsychoRocka, in The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game

Just curious to see other peoples campaign pools thus far, I'll probably have to replay them all to fit in the old forest and who's kidding probably another time before playing the road darkens but as of now this is my current campaign pool:

Lotr lcg campaign card pool

-mr underhill

-the ring draws them - burden card

-panicked - burden card

-eaten alive! - burden card

-valiant warrior on haldir

-skilled healer on elrohir

Mr Underhill

Gandalf's Delay

Skilled Healer on Sam.

Tireless Ranger on Fatty.

No burdens from Flight to the Ford thanks to my latest playthrough.

Wow nice!! Very impressive getting no burdens, I'm gonna try do a playthrough later with only one burden (whote bridge). I find the choice between the ring draws them and gandalfs delay quite a hard one as I'd really rather not only start with 6 cards for the rest of the entire saga but the ring draws them can be a pretty nasty treachery. Ultimately went with The ring draws them as my two handed decks feature a fair bit of sentinel and ranged so should be able to handle this treachery most of the time.

Just replayed through the three quests in the black riders box (didn't play old forest as I already earned the boon and got a decent score) again to put myself in as good a position as possible for the road darkens.
My new campaign pool is as follows:

Campaign Pool:

Boons: Gildor Inglorian (shuffled into encounter deck), Old Bogey Stories (attached to a hero of the first players choice during setup, best on the lore/tactics deck), Valiant Warrior (attached to Haldir during setup), Tireless Ranger (attached to Elrohir during setup)

Burdens: The Ring Draws Them (shuffled into encounter deck), Eaten Alive! (shuffled into encounter deck)

Isn't giving Elrohir the Ranger trait pointless since he's one already.

If I would guess, it is for the +1 defense. ;)

I've got:

Gildor

Ring draws them

Noble Hero on Frodo

Tireless Ranger on Aragorn

I managed to pass Bruinen without any burdens (Out of wild on the one shuffled into a deck-victory pool doesn't give you burdens!)

Now I passed the ring goes south without lust of the ring, so my campaign pool is perfect!

I was really torn between Gandalf's Delay and Ring Draws them. Gandalf's Delay is annoying for sure, but Ring Draws them can be a game ender if you hit it at the wrong time. Solo I would probably do Ring Draws them. With 2+ it gets dangerous in a hurry.
