Do you count as your own ally?

Thinking of things like Heightened Awareness. Do you gain the benefits of the talent, or doe sit only help your teammates?

Similarly, can the Heal power be used on you (do you count as engaged with yourself)?

I'd imagine that it only counts as your external allies, or else it would state that said power could be used on yourself.

Agreed.

In the case of Heightened Awareness, I seem to recall hearing or seeing a dev ruling that you don't benefit from the talent, only your allies do.

On the Heal power, I'd say it's permissible to use it on yourself, since the text for the basic ability doesn't say "ally" only "engaged living creature," which in most respects would cover the Force user.

The basic power says "heal comrades' injuries", not comrades and the player. Interpreting the language that you are your own ally or that you are engaged with yourself strikes me as a fairly schizophrenic application of the text.

The Force is my ally, and a powerful ally it is.

"Greed can be a powerful ally".

The Force is my ally, and a powerful ally it is.

raw you can heal the force, whatever that might entail. seems nice.
