Spending Morality at chargen how much are the different levels?

Spending Morality at chargen how much are the different levels? It is not clear. and the last bit about approaching light side or darkside is not really clear either..

You don't spend Morality. You just select an option at chargen.

Now I am even more confused.

Maybe give me a page number.

Essentially you pick one of four options; either

a) you start with +10xp

b) you start with +5xp and +1k credits

c) you start with +2500 credits

d) you move 20 points on Morality, from 50 to either 30 or 70 (your choice) putting you at the threshold of light side/ dark side paragon

That is an even harder choice than the previous books.....

Decisions, decisions......

Yep,though I suspect most players will wind up going the "+5XP and +1000 credits" route, with the exception of dedicated Force using types or the 'saber-monkeys, who really don't need a lot of credits (300 for a basic 'saber hilt, 150 credits for concealing robes, 25 for a comlink and either a stimpack or utility belt), both of whom would get extra mileage out of that free 10 XP.

Speaking of equipment, are Armoured Robes supposed to be Jedi items? They're restricted, costly and rare, so it got me wondering... And if they are, who in the films/Clone Wars cartoons actually used them? I'm curious as to what they looked like.

And those give you Soak 2, Defence 1? Huh.

Personally I was thinking more along these lines for Armored Robes...

Dono, those are definitely perfect examples. I was just trying to pull from Movies/TCW as requested.

I always liked the look of armored robes. Though I am not sure of the practicality of the robes part. In the movies, aside from ANH and the mass battles,we typically see the Jedi remove their robes first before engaging in a duel.

I suspect the cloaks are what provide the setback die to avoid being identified while wearing Concealing Robes, and that its the garment underneath that provides the soak bonus. As for Armored Robes, the fabric probably has nothing to do with the protective traits and is there more for style than practicality.

Going by FOR examples, I can definitely see the appeal in them.
