This allows Tycho two actions at PS 10, also giving him a super barrel roll. He'll never have to worry about stress, as it would only prohibit the A-Wings K-turns. You could also throw some missiles on there if he needs an extra punch.
This is actually someone who could outfly Soontir Fel.

Thing is now, in order to do two actions, he has to barrel roll
2 actions only if the second is the free barrel roll from expert handling. that's far more limited than PTL.
you could do one of two things. either drop him back down to 8 and for 2 points more give him PTL which could potentially give him the 3 you'd want (focus, boost, free barrel roll) with expert handling. or, just give him PTL, drop the barrel roll from the equation, and keep him at PS10 for 2 points cheaper at 28.
I'm pretty new to the game, so you'll have to forgive me if I'm missing something. Focus and evades are nice, but barrel roll combines so well with boost. Yes he would lose his focus, but at PS 10 it is quite easy to get out of arcs. I normally only end up needing to focus or evade if I end up in a position where I know I'm going to be shot.
The thing about focus is that it can really effect your damage output and it is always a handy thing to have in a pinch. With a build like you have above I would recommend just a slight change.

For 3 more points you get 3 actions a turn. That is just dangerous and fun.
Screw EH... Now you're just trying to emulate Fel, and he's going to come up short with the 2 attack vs. 3 (and the PS8 vs. 9)... Even if he does have a better dial.
Put DareDevil on him instead. Now, he does something that no one else can do... If you really wanted, you could put EH, DD + EI on him, and then he can boost (or F), and then either BR or DD... That might not be bad...
To be clear, he could only do Daredevil if he's not already stressed correct? Considering the number of green actions the A-wing has that can easily be arranged but I just want to make sure I have the rules right.

I just looked at the FAQ because I was confused. Daredevil was changed to a white action, which makes way more sense now.

Also, you need to make sure you are using the errata-version of Daredevil. If you have an original version, it says perform a RED maneuver. That is incorrect. You perform a WHITE maneuver, then receive a stress, so Tycho can do it while stressed.

Thus the inclusion of DD in my build. No one else can Boost + DD every turn. Lots of people can Boost and Barrel Roll, and Tycho isn't even the best or cheapest option. But Boost + DD, now that's special!
DD on Tycho just sound so orgasmic, and I'm probably gonna be nympho no.1 after trying it...
