Traps in leuitenant encounters

By snacknuts, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

The trap cards animate weapons and dance of the monkey god begin with "Each hero in the dungeon..." Does this mean playing one in a Lieutenant encounter will do nothing? The cards were printed before road to legend, which introduced encounters and such..

Not again... There's a long thread somewhere where you can read the entire "discussion", but to summarize, pick your side:

1) "The cards say in the dungeon so you can only play them in a dungeon, i.e not in encounters."

2) "The cards were printed before RtL and obviously mean not in town . So you can play them during lt. encounters."

That will have to do until it is answered by an FAQ update.

To further muddy the waters, the German translation, released post RtL, is worded such that you can use them in encounters.
However the current english version is worded so that you cannot and it has not yet been amended or clarified by FAQ or GLoAQ.

Awesome, hopefully this will find it's way onto the next/a future FAQ.
