Imperial Ordnance Tank and Nimble A Wing Builds

I had two ideas for fun builds last night, one built on imperial tanking/ordnance and the other a rebel version of the squishy interceptor madness. Compeitive or not, they would be fun and intimidating.

"Imperial Ordnance Tanks" - Shuttle gets 2 TL with no range restrictions, one for its PS6 HLC and another to give to Jonus. Jonus can then focus, and he grants 2 secondary attack die reroll and his PS 6 to nearby Gamma. Gamma takes his own TL. Torpedoes away with MF behind cover of the shuttle.

So, remind me what do 'test pilots' give you. I don't have rebel aces yet (unsurprisingly) and wasn't really paying that much attention to reveals But i love A wings so if you make them a better option for me then its all good.

Test Pilot - Allows you to take two different EPTs

In your first list, you will have serious problems with your shuttle in front. It wants to go slow (or not move) but doing so can potentially block your bombers (losing actions). Even if its not in front, its gonna get too close to get good use out of the Heavy Laser by the 3rd turn or so. And then good luck turning that beast around!

For your second list, you forgot the 2nd EPT on Jake. Drop Hull Upgrade off of Tycho and give Jake outmanoeuvre!

I love when people play A wings because one proton bomb can destroy an untouched A wing. 3 times I have blown up my friends a wing with stealth device on it because he landed on my proton bomb and it gave him direct hit.

Good on ya running Proton Bombs, but they are hardly used.

So many fat cows. There are problems with this squadron.

Looking at your "strategy" it seems to me the way you SHOULD be passing TL tokens is from Jendon to the Gamma as that Gamma may have trouble aquiring target locks against high PS ships. I could also point out that the TL on Jendon may be mostly useless when you have Jonus right there allowing that HLC to reroll a couple of dice without spending the TL. Speaking of Jonus, you have a LOT of expensive ordnance on him which he may not be able to use very accurately as he does NOT benefit from his own ability. I'm a long ways from believing that Munitions Failsafe is actually a good deal on the Bomber when its ordnance is firing with 4 dice and gets to benefit from Jonus's rerolls and possibly even Focus tokens if it is passed the TL it needs to fire; the chances of an outright miss are pretty low.

It is like Royal Guard Tie only with Veteran Slots instead of Modification Slots.
