All good names. The ships listed above are all at least Legacy canon. Entries for the Gladiator and Mark 2 Assault Frigate were very limited.

If in doubt, use the gladiator titles from the Roman days. Here are a few from off the top of my head, though I know there are many more:

I've always loved the ship name from the 90's cartoon Bucky O'Hare called The Righteous Indignation.

I imagine sister VSD ships one named The Righteous Indignation , and the other named The Divine Retribution fighting alongside each other.

Imperial Star Destroyer (or a Harrower, if my feverish dreams ever come true) I'll use the name my gaming group have been using ever since we roleplayed a Starship crew in SWTOR (and then re-used the name for a Guns of Icarus' Galleon):

For all we know, the Secutor class was named after a famous Gladiator class ship

(Note: I might be slightly off on my timeline here.)

I loaned y copy of Stay n Target toa friend so I don't know if it states exactly when the two classes came out. Gladiators were very early empire, Secutors pre Hoth but that's all I know.

I'm definitely naming my Victory mkII either the SS Tengu or Pinocchio
