Supplemental aid

I'm curious what other peoples opinions were on supplements they've read and how much they have helped them.

I have "enter the unknown" and "beyond the rim"

Personally I found beyond the rim more useful as gave a lot of ideas and really gave me more of an example of what an explorer would do than enter the unknown

I still like the equipment etc in enter the unknown.

But I did find a majority of the pages in the book to be too vague to take any purpose out of them.

I have the GM booklet thing as well which I thought was nice considering how few pages it has

For me the biggest benefit have been the sourcebooks like Enter the Unknown and the new Far Horizons.

Our entire campaign was based on exploration because we were inspired by Enter the Unknown (and because my wife loves archaeology, so the opportunity to play one was perfect).

I love the story guidelines they give in different ways in each of the sourcebooks, and the advice for "here's how to run a ___ style campaign".

I think they've done a great job on those books.
