I wanted to take a second and voice my excitement for all of the new goodness coming out. I see there are a lot of debates on waves being to over powered and such, but I am just excited that FFG is bring out more goodness. I am super excited to see what is next and to see such a range of ships I love and ships I have never heard of. This game is so good and I am excited to see more of it. Wave 5 and 6 are coming, aces are coming what a great time to be a gamer.

PS How cool will an ISD look on my desk at work, much cool.

Here Here!!! I agree totally. It would have been nice to have a card that fixes the TIE advanced, but even so I'm very happy with the waves.

I got the outrider at Gencon and I have to say they did a great job. I initially was more excited about the Decimator but that outrider looks so durn cool!

I'm totally excited as well. Tons of awesome stuff coming out.

I've been super excited about wave 5, especially the Decimator!

But after they announced wave 6 that's what I'm most excited about! It's all so different and the ship abilities are going to be pretty wacky I'm thinking.

And more Y-Wing support! The Y-Wing is probably my favorite ship to fly when I fly rebels. Dutch all day!

Scum might turn out to be my new favorite faction. :)

In the Team Covenant interview the designers said that the Scum HWKs are pretty much the opposite of Rebel HWKs. They're mean and jam and steal your actions.

What I'm curious about is how they handle future waves. With the exception of Wave 5 all other waves has been 4 ships. Does this mean from wave 7 on we will get 2 ships for one faction and 1 each for the others. It could also mean each wave will be 1 ship each faction. If each faction only gets 1 Ship , it will address the concern some are having that FFG will run out of ships to print.

I'm waiting for Rebel Aces to turn green and Wave 5 to turn yellow so I can start spamming the Upcoming page again.

I pre-ordered Rebel Aces from my FLGS to give a brick store some money, but I will be pre-ordering Wave 5 and 6 from MiniMarket.

My FLGS has preorder discounts on X-Wings stuff which is awesome.

I don't think they're going to run out of ships to print with Rebels just around the corner and Episode 7 coming soon. (Althogh 7 doesn't fit the era they're working in so we'll see.) But rebels ships for sure. They're probably already designing the Ghost.

I would say the sky is the limit for X-wing but no that would be too small.

At this point I don't think we can correctly guess a number of ships that will be a standard for new waves and that is exciting more then limiting. Expect the unexpected as we would hear.

Yeah but they also had to pump out a lot to keep them balanced with the rebs and imps

If I were to be forced to predict the future waves, I would guess one ships per faction from now on. no longer will we get 4 ship waves. or at least until they add a 4th faction

it just dawned on me, this could also be the sign as to why we didn't get the announcement for huge ships on the imperial side. The next huge ship announcment could be 2 ships like before. one ship for Imperial and one ship for Scum.
