more info?

Now that we know as much as we can gleam from zoomed in blurry pics and video what other information do you really want to know?

For one I want to know more about how upgrades and special cards will be divided between the starter and the expansions and what those upgrades do. Specifically if any good upgrades will be solely in the victory expansion and not the starter. Unless the demos revealed any flaws in the games rules a pdf of them would be grand. It would also allow us to better understand some of the point decisions.

A stat card for the sweetest ship of wave one the assault frigate mk2, man I love that thing.

This is more a hope but I really dont want them to put super useful upgrades in only one factions ships like ptl and predator.

Anything else important I missed?

This plus I would love to get my hands on the damage cards.

I don't want to know anything more. Quite frankly, I wish I didn't know what I do now. I rather enjoy opening a new mini and having the opportunity of surprise and excitement over what is included. I hate the fact that everything gets spoiled weeks/months in advance, with endless analysis. It kind of ruins the fun to me ...

And yes, I try to do my best NOT to read threads that may have this information, but, well, that is almost impossible ... especially around Gen Con :P

In this case though, you just have to avoid this forum entirely. Much easier. :P

I really appreciate the previews, cause they let me know if it's something I want to get for more than just the ship, but I agree.

It ruins it when they tell us EVERYTHING.

I especially try to avoid the pictures where they show every card, token, etc. all spread out. Granted, for some of it, you can't actually read everything, but these pictures pretty much ruin it for me when it comes to any surprises when opening the expansion.

I want to know EVERYTHING because I hate to buy the cat in the bag.

I like as much information as possible. Its not that I dont like surprises, its that if I'm gonna to pre order something I would rather do it all at once. Some info, specifically what comes in the core vs vsd pack is important, but that is.for another thread..

I always have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I love the surprises that come with opening unspoiled material (that was the only great part about CCG models--opening those packs and getting something great/new).

On the other hand, I can't resist poring over every little detail in advance when given the opportunity. I guess I just want to have my cake and eat it, too.

I like knowing as much as possible in advance because when I get the product later I will have these "Aha moments" that will still greatly excite me. No matter how much stuff is leaked/previewed there is still some stuff that just doesn't click until you get it in your own hands, and actually having the cards/models in hands is just an awesome feeling that spoilers can't ruin

It is definitely true that getting the new ship or card in hand has a great feel that can't be beat. But a new, never-before-seen (or at least largely unknown) item in hand is even better!

A good deal of the fun for me in games like these is the puzzling together of ships and upgrades to make fun and devastating combinations to play. And while I can't play without the game, if the cards are revealed I can start puzzling.

So bring on the spoilers!

Uggh, I'd be happy with better pictures of what was at gencon now.

No one gave a lot of thought about the bases at the time. We will have to see what comes out of PAX.
