Ok, run Vader and Whisper on the flanks while the TIEs move up the middle. Vader + Predator + Cluster Missles could be up to 6 damage on a single ship, Whisper does a lot of focusing ensuring hits and/or evades, not much to say about the 2 TIEs other than support. Basically the defender must commit to a threat and move to close with and destroy while my TIEs not being targeted manuever behind their ships...please give me some feedback both positive and negative, thanks!

My first impression is that's not a particularly effective way to spend 36 points on Vader. Outmaneuver + Engine Upgrade is scarier overall, and Predator + Concussion Missiles is a nearly guaranteed 4 hits and happens earlier.

Or, to put it another way, those 36 points could be a Bounty Hunter + Recon Specialist. Is Vader likely to do more damage over the course of the match than the Hunter? (I'm not saying yes or no, but that in order to justify spending so much on one ship, it's worth considering the alternative uses for those points.)

If Vader is an imperative, then Vorpal is probably right about outmaneuver and EU. Though predator isn't a bad way to go either. With EU it lets you reroll even if you have to barrel roll and boost. Statistically it is outmaneuver by a nose, but in practice I have more luck with predator. Especially if our meta uses lots of lower PS ships.

I like the outmaneuver and EU for sure! Had thought about it and dismissed it when I looked at PS9 and predator....def reconsidering

I'm also not a fan of the Vader as built and would like to see an Engine Upgrade on him.

I really like Rebel Captive instead of Recon Specialist.

Also, I'd agree with the Outmaneuver and Engine. You usually can take a Target Lock at some point anyway.

Otherwise, it looks like a solid Vader build.

You can also drop the Engine to bump a tie up to Backstabber. He's my best scoring Tie fighter.

VI on Whisper is an absolute must.

I have a personal preference for concussion missiles, specifically because Vader's high pilot skill allows him to usually not get target locked during the initial encounter while he can still fire some missiles back.
